Privacy Policy

This website, kylerhood.com, is run by Kyler Hood, a Texas real estate sales agent licensed under eXp Realty LLC (“I” or “me”). This policy explains what information the site collects, how I use it, and the choices you have.
What I collect
- What you send me. If you use the payment estimator, the floorplan quiz, or the tax trap calculator and choose to send a request, I receive your first and last name, your email address, and your phone number if you give one. I also receive the details attached to that request, such as the city, price or payment inputs, and quiz answers. If you tick the optional text-message box, I record that you did, along with the version of the wording you saw.
- Basic technical data. My hosting provider, Netlify, processes standard server information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so the site can be delivered and kept secure.
- Analytics. I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It collects aggregated usage information such as pages viewed, how you arrived, device type and approximate location. Google processes this data under Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out add-on.
The estimator and the quiz run in your browser. The numbers you enter are only sent to me if you submit a request. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers.
How I use it
I use your information to answer your request, follow up about homes, communities and builders, send information you ask for, keep records of our conversations, and operate and protect the site.
Who I share it with
- eXp Realty LLC, the brokerage I am licensed under, as needed for brokerage record-keeping, supervision and compliance.
- Service providers that help me run the site and follow up with you, for example Netlify for hosting and for storing form submissions, and the email, phone or customer-management tools I use.
- Builders or lenders, only if you ask me to connect you.
- Others when the law requires it.
I do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
Text messages are optional. If you tick the box on a request form, you agree that I may text you at the number you provided about your request. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to texting is not a condition of working with me. I do not share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.
Links to other sites
This site links to YouTube, Instagram, builder websites and the Texas Real Estate Commission. Videos open on YouTube; this site does not embed video players. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
How long I keep it
I keep your information for as long as I need it to respond to you and to meet legal and brokerage record-keeping requirements, and then I delete it or remove identifying details.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Contact me using the details below and I will respond as promptly as I can.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or method of transmission is completely secure.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I will post the updated version here and change the date at the top.
